Subpeona for Karl Rove; Perjury for Gitmo Al

The Senate Judiciary Committee has issued a subpoena seeking truthful testimony from presidential advisor Karl von Rove. At the same time four members of the same committee have begun discussing the need for a special prosecutor to investigate Gitmo Al Gonzales for perjury. You can read about it here.

Its probably pointless to waste the time of Congress and the people to try to get truthful testimony out of Karl Rove. Likewise it will be pointless to investigate Gitmo Al for perjury because in both cases, using the Libby Doctrine, they will be pardoned or their sentences commuted to buy their silence.

Still its nice to think that there may be a slim chance that justice could be served and maybe these despicable bastards will land in jail. Of course I once believed in the tooth fairy also.
