This story from Reuters makes suggests that good old Repignican-constructed American family values are popping up in Italy.
ROME (Reuters) - Hundreds of Italians protested in the northern Italian city of Treviso on Saturday after the city's deputy mayor called for the "ethnic cleansing" of homosexuals from the area.
The protesters gathered outside city hall to demand Giancarlo Gentilini's resignation, some wearing pink triangles like the ones homosexual men had to wear in Nazi concentration camps.
Unfortunately if the words spoken by this pea-brain from northern Italy had been spoken by a politician in the United States, the Reich-wing noise machine would have rallied behind him. The Democrats would have asked focus groups if and how they should respond, and Bush would strut around saying "bring em on."
Wake up Sheeple.
