I particularly like this quote by Repugnican Congressman Tom Davis here in Northern Virginia - "Representative Tom Davis told Mr. Bush that the president’s approval rating was at 5 percent in one section of his northern Virginia district."
Personally I'm surprised the Chimp has a 5 percent approval rating here in Northern Virginia although I do occasionally see the random Humvee driving around getting 3 miles per gallon that still sports a Bush/Cheney 04 bumper sticker. So I guess the neanderthals are still among us.
The real telling part of this story will be in the next few months (as more American kids are killed for lies in Iraqnam) and the Repugnicans note that their chances of re-election in 2008 are light years worse than they were in 2006. There will be either a mass exodus of these people who suddenly realize that "I was a liberal all along" or more likely, they will simply disavow any knowledge of support for Bush and pray that pictures of them draped all over the "Commander guy" dont show up in the hands of their opponents.
Personally I love watching these repulsive bastards eat their own. If we could just get them to attack William Kristol and the feeble minded nitwits at Faux Noise Network who continue to spew glad tidings for the Chimp. Maybe that will happen next?
