Stories like this one from Reuters (click on the post title for the link)get me so damned depressed. Planes fall out of the sky all the time. Why not now? Why not when such a grand gesture would have done so much to restore the world's faith in the United States?
Yahoo News is headlining this story as "VP's Plane Has Minor Electrical Problem." My guess is, given how adept these crooked bastards are at lying, there was probably a major electrical meltdown on the VP's plane. All of the little mice that keep the treadmill running have singed hair. There was probably smoke billowing from each engine and the cockpit was blackened by smoke. The VP probably had another heart attack (we can hope)yet the White House lie machine will portray this as a minor electrical problem.
We were so near and yet so far. I guess we'll just have to impeach this lying bastard also.
