Bush Didn't Leave Any Chimps Behind Either

CHICAGO (Reuters) - Monkeys performed about as well as college students at mental addition, U.S. researchers said on Monday in a finding that suggests nonverbal math skills are not unique to humans.
Well, well, well. Here we have another Bush administration success stories. Through his tireless efforts to educate his own kind, Bush has succeeded in bringing the intelligence level of primates up to that of humans at least where math is concerned.

Or is it, more likely, that human intelligence has declined so drastically under "No Child Left Behind" that we are now on the same intelligence level as primates? Could be when you consider the number of people who watch Fox News and listen to Rush and Michael Savage each day.

Hmmmmm. Maybe this research and the story behind it aren't news so much as a confirmation of the obvious?
