Gitmo Al Named Lawyer of the Year

WASHINGTON - Negative news coverage may have cost former Attorney General Alberto Gonzales his job, but it won him a dubious honor Wednesday from a magazine published by the American Bar Association: Lawyer of the Year.
This just proves that America really is the land of opportunity.

Only in America could a third rate real estate attorney be appointed to the state supreme court only to be appointed as counsel to the "president" then appointed Attorney General (the number 1 law enforcer in the nation) and then be removed from office for malfesence among other things and THEN be named Lawyer of the Year!!

Any semblance of regard that I had for the American Bar Association just went out the window. Unfortunately Gitmo Al didn't follow that regard out the window.
