US Debt Increases by $1 Million a MINUTE!!!

WASHINGTON - Like a ticking time bomb, the national debt is an explosion waiting to happen. It's expanding by about $1.4 billion a day — or nearly $1 million a minute.

What's that mean to you?

It means almost $30,000 in debt for each man, woman, child and infant in the United States.

During the 1992 and 1996 Presidential campaigns, the Repignofascist Party made a big freaking deal out of the national debt and how important it was to pay it down. They never mentioned that it was THEIR PARTY that ran the national debt into the stratosphere.

Then along came Bill Clinton who actually paid down the national debt and he did so without harming basic services. You never heard the Repignofascist Party mention that.

Later still came the man-child in the White House named Dubya. Under his "management" the national debt is now $9 trillion dollars. The interest alone is costing us $1 million a minute (that's $14,400,000,000 or 14.4 BILLION a day!!) But the Chimp doesn't care. After all, Darth Cheney has said several times that "Reagan proved that budget deficits (and by extension national debt) don't matter." They must matter or Cheney's party wouldn't have made such a big deal about them in the 1990s.

All I can say is 1) Heckuva job, Dubya, and 2) wake up sheeple.
