Area Of Arctic Ice the Size of Florida Melts in Six Days

An area of Arctic sea ice the size of Florida has melted away in just the last six days as melting at the top of the planet continues at a record rate.

2007 has already broken the record for the lowest amount of sea ice ever recorded, say scientists, smashing the old record set in 2005.
Well this is encouraging. Despite this news we can all rest easily knowing that well-known climate scientists Senator James Inhofe (R-OK), professional hairball Rush Limbuagh, and novelist Michael Crichton can tell us with a straight face that there is no global warming and that none of this occurred. Its akin to not paying attention to the man behind the curtain.
