Greenland Ice Cap - Going Going Gone

The Greenland ice cap is melting so quickly that it is triggering earthquakes as pieces of ice several cubic kilometres in size break off.

Scientists monitoring events this summer say the acceleration could be catastrophic in terms of sea-level rise and make predictions this February by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change far too low.
Luckily for the earth we have noted climate scientists like Senator Jim Inhofe (R-OK), professional gasbag Rush Limbaugh, and novelist Michael Crichton who can inform the public that these scientific data are all wrong. In fact, in their world, the ice cap on Greenland is likely growing in size as temperatures rise. That would be if there were temperature rises. However the Repignican talking points on this issue are unequivocal. In the end we have nothing to worry about because Bush has "god" on his side and after all there will be no earth changes with "god" in charge.
