Bush Administration Outsourcing/Contracting Hoses Veterans In My Home Town

Just over 2 months after it opened, the Veterans Outpatient Clinic in Rice Lake suddenly closed.

A sign on the clinic door reads “The Rice Lake VA outpatient clinic is temporarily closed due to contract problems with Corporate Health and Wellness. Any questions call your service office.”

A similar clinic in Hayward, which is operated by the same provider, Corporate Health and Wellness of Paris, Ky., also closed suddenly.

The Rice Lake clinic served veterans from Barron, Burnett, Polk, Rusk, Sawyer and Washburn counties. About 17,000 veterans live in the region.
The Bush Abomination's overwhelming desire to rid the government of we useless Federal employees has taken its toll on the care received by veterans in my home town of Rice Lake, Wisconsin.

Its bad enough that Bush had to send kids to their death in Iraqnam while they drove jeeps that were not armored. It was bad enough that Bush sent kids to their death in Iraqnam because they were not provided with body armor. It was bad enough that at the start of the illegal invasion and occupation of Iraqnam the Bush Abomination was charging wounded soldiers for the meals they consumed in military hospitals after they were wounded in the pursuit of Bush's noble cause (that crap stopped as soon as Democratic Congressman David Obey from Wisconsin found out and raised an enormous stink).

All of that stuff is bad enough on the face of it. What really takes the cake is the Bush Abomination being so underhanded and loathing of those who need help that they would rather contract out an essential government service to veterans rather than have dedicated government employees do the work. But the Chimp doesn't care. None of his family is in Iraqnam or will they ever be so what does it matter to him? After all his goal is to make the upper 1 percent of Americans even more filthy rich than they are currently. Nothing else matters.

Heckuva job, Dubya. Heckuva job.
