Another Bush Administration Success Story

ATLANTA - More than 1 million cases of chlamydia were reported in the United States last year — the most ever reported for a sexually transmitted disease, federal health officials said Tuesday.

"A new U.S. record," said Dr. John M. Douglas Jr. of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

More bad news: Gonorrhea rates are jumping again after hitting a record low, and an increasing number of cases are caused by a "superbug" version resistant to common antibiotics, federal officials said Tuesday.
This is great news for the Bushies - another sterling accomplishment in the endless string of administrative success stories to have come from the Bushies in office.

You'd think that a nation willing to throw away half a trillion dollars for no earthly reason other than to secure oil fields in Iraq so Bush's campaign contributors in the oil industry will have more $100 barrels of oil, could certainly do something to stem the tide of increasing rates of sexually transmitted diseases in this country. And think also of all the money going into "abstinence" training. What a joke.

This story epitomizes yet another huge failure of the Bush Administration. And what's really freightening is that almost everyone of the Repignofascist candidates running to replace him is portraying himself as another Bush.

Its time to move to Argentina.
