Yesterday January 5 the high in DC was 51 degrees and some cherry trees across the street from me were in blossom. They bloomed on January 3 in 2007.
Today, January 6, the high for DC is forecast to be 57 degrees
Tomorrow, January 7, the high in DC is forecast to be 68 degrees
Tuesday January 8, the high in DC is forecast to be 69 degrees.
I'm certainly glad that Rush Limbaugh, Senator Jim Inhofe, and novelist Michael Crichton have determined that there is no global warming to explain these spring like temperatures and blooming trees in early January.
