Iraq Government Has Missed All Targets
Here's another example of how the Bush Administration continues to operate with its head in the sand.
A progress report on Iraq will conclude that the U.S.-backed government in Baghdad has not met any of its targets for political, economic and other reforms, speeding up the Bush administration's reckoning on what to do next, a U.S. official said Monday.
Despite this statement, we are faced with this reality:
But another senior official said Bush's advisers, along with the president, decided last week there was not enough evidence from Iraq to justify a change now in current policy.
How can anyone with an IQ equal to or greater than a gnat not see that there is ample evidence that a change in current policy in Iraq is needed? It seems like each and every day there is another huge miscue that is unearthed. Each day more sectarian violence (not less as promised by the surge) is reported. Each day more American kids are killed or wounded for a lie. And its all been purchased by the American public for the bargain basement price of $630 billion dollars so far.
How much longer will the American public stand for the treachery and outright lies of the Bush Administration? When will we take to the streets and force the Chimp to face reality? I do not want to have to wait 560 more days until he leaves office and an adult is running the show, before any policy changes are put in place.
