Tomorrow is the big day. President Al Gore's Live Earth Concert designed to bring together 2 BILLION people around the world to start taking action to reverse the effects of global warming. Its funny how the future President of the United States can bring 2 billion people together peacefully to work on a cause, while the current occupant of the White House can bring together 2 billion people, each wanting his head on a platter (but would they put an apple in his mouth when they did it?).
Anyway, July 7 is the day. You can watch and listen to live music being broadcast from each of the seven continents throughout the day. It will be a great opportunity to educate the masses about what we are doing to Mother Earth. It will also be a great opportunity for Al Gore to say "And in conclusion, I'm announcing today my candidacy to win the Presidency for a second time." However I think that will happen in October when he accepts the Nobel Peace Prize.
