Turkish General Warns of Damage to US/Turkey Relations

ANKARA (Reuters) - Turkey's powerful military chief said on Sunday if the U.S. Congress approved a resolution branding the 1915 killing of Armenians by Ottoman Turks genocide ties between the NATO allies would never be the same again.

Ankara is a crucial ally for Washington, which relies on Turkey as a logistical base for the war in Iraq.
Its really unfortunate, at a time like this, that the United States has a child in the White House instead of a leader. Turkey has been a crucial ally for as long as anyone can remember. However now that Turkey is preparing to take military action to protect its own interests (no doubt exacerbated by the foolish American occupation of Iraqnam) the Bush Abomination is beating its chest. Don't be surprised when the Commander-in-Cocaine says "bring em on" to Turkey. And I hope Turkey kicks are ever loving ass when he says it.

Wake up, sheeple.
