Welcome to World War III

ISTANBUL, Turkey - Turkey moved closer to opening a new front in the Iraq war Monday, with the government asking parliament to approve a cross-border offensive against Kurdish rebels. Still, its leaders were reluctant to stage an incursion that could hurt Turkey's standing with Washington.
Well, this is just great. On top of Bush rattling sabers (or sabres in british) with Iran, we have Turkey (one of our alleged "allies") ready to invade Iraqnam along its northern border.

I thought Bush's strategy of bringing democracy to Iraq was going to lead to regional stability? I thought that bringing democracy to Iraq was going to make all the other countries in the region toe the line and become good little clones just like Iraq. If thats the case, why is Turkey about ready to invade Iraqnam at the same time the idiot in the White House wants to illegally invade Iran?

Oh, that's right. We didn't bring democracy to Iraqnam with our illegal invasion and occupation. Instead we brought more instability and more hatred for the west and more people wanting to die to stave off the great satan in Washington DC.

Heckuva job, Dubya.
