On Wednesday, June 13, Waters and Kucinich plan to hold a press conference in Washington, D.C., to discuss "Renewed Efforts in the House of Representatives to Impeach Vice President Cheney." The event is planned for 9:30 a.m. at the Cannon Terrace (on the outside of the Cannon House Office Building).

Join CODE PINK and other activists in a meeting with Senator Liebermanon Thursday at 4:30 pm in his office (706 Hart) to talk about Iran. Sen. Lieberman recently spoke in support of using military force in Iran.Leslie Angeline, who recently returned from a Global Exchange trip to Iran, started a hunger strike after she heard Lieberman’s threats of attack on Iran. Activists went to his office Tuesday with about 30 people and asked for a meeting. Wednesday they returned planning to spend the whole day there, and were told they could meet with the Senator on Thursday.
