Its Time for a Recall Election in Connecticut

If you go to this website http://en.wikipedia.org/ wiki/ List_of_all_newspapers_in_the_United_States#Connecticut you can get the link to write letters to the editor of all the daily newspapers in Connecticut.

I just emailed all of them this letter:

Dear Editor

In November 2006 the good people of Connecticut had a choice of who you wanted representing you in Washington DC as your Senator. You could stay with the status quo and send Joe Lieberman back or you could elect a fresh face named Ned Lamont who promised to listen to the people and their wishes.

Scared of losing his seat Joe LIeberman morphed and told you he wanted to end the war in Iraq. Unfortunately 60 percent of Connecticut voters listened to Lieberman’s line and you sent him back to Washington.

Today on Face the Nation your Senator, who portrayed himself as anti-war to get re-elected had this to say about Iran:

“I think we have to be prepared to take aggressive military action against the Iranians to stop them from killing Americans in Iraq,” Lieberman said. Host Bob Schieffer followed-up: “Let’s just stop right there. Because I think you probably made some news here, Senator Lieberman. You’re saying that if the Iranians don’t let up, that the United States should take military action?” “I am,” Lieberman responded

I sincerely hope that the voters of Connecticut now understand what they got when they insisted on returning Joe and his years in Congress back to Congress. I also hope that you have the fortitude to initiate a recall election to remove him before more damage can be done. I am not from Connecticut but Holy Joe is an embarassment to me. I can only imagine what people from the state think of the chief propagandist for the Bush administration in the Senate.

Please consider doing the same
