At least five Palestinians have been killed amid continuing operations by Israeli forces in the Gaza Strip, according to witnesses and medics.
The deaths occurred during raids by Israeli ground troops east of Khan Younis in the early hours of Thursday.
An Israeli air strike also hit Gaza City. Palestinian officials said the home of a militant leader who was killed last week was the target.
