Search for Weapons of Mass Deception in Iraqnam to Officially End
More than four years and countless billions of dollars later, the search for non-existent weapons of mass deception in Iraqnam appears to be over. And when the search is over they will have found zero weapons just as Hans Blix and others said before Bush's illegal invasion began. With some luck, the United Nations will immediately begin a search for Agents of Mass Stupidity in the White House. Rumor has it they will be successful just after entering the front door their first day.
Although the United Nations will officially end its fruitless and futile search for weapons that Bush's father sold to Saddam in the 1980s and early 1990s, its instructive to read and remember some of the "sure thing" comments made by loud mouths from the Bush Administration regarding their certainty about WMD in Iraqnam. Read these and weep. We the people allowed these jackals to run over us with their lies. We are the only ones to blame.
Bush, May 29, 2003: We found the weapons of mass destruction. We found biological laboratories. You remember when Colin Powell stood up in front of the world, and he said, Iraq has got laboratories, mobile labs to build biological weapons. They're illegal. They're against the United Nations resolutions, and we've so far discovered two. And we'll find more weapons as time goes on. But for those who say we haven't found the banned manufacturing devices or banned weapons, they're wrong, we found them. (May 23, 2003--a month after he declared victory.)
