Bush Indicates Shift on Warming

(click on post title for the story)
So read the headline in the Bush-loving Washington Post this morning.

Then when you read the accompanying story about Bush's shift you find out that ...

German Chancellor Angela Merkel, host of the annual Group of Eight meeting at the elegant Kempinski Grand Hotel in Heiligendamm, has been working for months to lay the foundation for a summit breakthrough in the fight against climate change.

But her drive looks doomed after U.S. President George W. Bush announced his own climate strategy last week which rejects the approach to cutting greenhouse gases favored by Merkel and other Europeans.

The only "shift" the tyrant in the White House has made on global warming is that he has now mentioned it a couple times in the last year. His Arrogance now promotes "global talks" on global warming.

Ah Dubya, there were "global talks" on warming. They resulted in the Kyoto Protocol in 1997 that you categorically and completely rejected.

Don't run around trying to make yourself look green in the last 597 days of your disgusting Administration. You had many opportunites in the last six years to have "global talks" on warming but all you wanted was to start and expand your global war of terror. Your place in history is etched in granite now Dubya. Please do not further disgust us with limp wristed attempts to make it look like you care. In fact, Dubya, go Cheney yourself. At least then you'll be doing what we the people want you to do.
