Its starting to look like Senator Straight-Talk-Express should start looking for a sharp knife with which to slash his wrists. And none too soon.
McCain had his best chance in 2000 but the Bush/Rove machine walked over him, especially in South Carolina. In fact after the SC primary McCain should have just taken his scowl and gone home. But he didn't.
In 2004 John Kerry considered asking McCain to be his Vice-Presidential candidate but McCain said no way.
Immediately after the 2004 election, which marked the start of the 2008 campaign season, McCain could be seen in almost every venue humanly possible with his nose firmly planted in Bush's ass. He thought if he could be the "War Candidate" just like Dumbo is the alleged war "president" then his election in 2008 would be a cakewalk.
Then reality headed its ugly rear and McCain was too stubborn to switch gears and tone down his rhetoric. Ah, too bad, Johnny.
Its very telling when someone whom nobody knows, Ron Paul, an obscure Congressman from somewhere in Texas can take in as much money as a big name person like McCain. It tells me that McCain is as viable as a used condom.
Luckily for this nation, McCain doesn't stand a chance in hell of getting the nomination and / or winning the election. To become viable again he would have to renounce his pro-war stance. Can you imagine all of the flip-flops people would be waving at him if he did that?? I'd actually like to find out how many!
But, McCain, stick a fork in yourself. You're done.
